Membership Rates

Join the community! Membership is optional, and is worthwhile if you plan to attend more than one class at Village Home. Enroll as a member family, and enjoy tuition DISCOUNTS as well as access to FREE weekly Member Activities and Clubs. Members who choose to volunteer a few hours per term are eligible for deeper discounts on class tuition. A portion of your membership dues may be tax-deductible. (Consult with your tax professional.) Approximately 90% of our families are members.

Family with 1 child: $300/year ($110/term)
Family with 2 children: $375/year ($135/term)
Family with 3 or more children: $450/year ($160/term)

Young Family Membership Rates

For our families whose children are all preschoolers under the age of 5 and who are enrolling in classes or activities for ages 5 and under:
Family with 1 child (age 3-5): $180/year ($70/term)
Family with 2 children (age 3-5): $255/year ($95/term)
Family with 3 or more children (age 3-5): $330/year ($120/term)

Membership fees are paid at the time of enrollment. Membership may be paid annually in the Fall term, or term-by-term. There is a nominal charge when you pay term-by-term.

Class Tuition and Other Fees

Tuition is noted in the online course description. Click on the class to see the tuition.

Typical tuition rates for classes are:

$55/class unit/term for volunteer members (members who agree to do volunteer work on-campus a few hours a term to earn tuition discounts.)
$90/class unit/term for regular members (members who do not volunteer.)
$125/class unit/term for non-members
(A class unit equals 10 hours of instruction per term)

Materials Fees

Some classes and Member Activities have a materials fee to cover consumable materials for the class. Materials fees vary from $0 - $25/term/offering. See the offering description for applicable materials fee.

Member Volunteers Enjoy Lower Class Tuition Rates

Volunteers keep Village Home costs low. If you choose to be an ON-CAMPUS volunteer, you access the lowest tuition rate, and you are committing to sign up for several hours per term of on-campus volunteer duty. We highly recommend scheduling your volunteer duty when you enroll. Village Home does not guarantee volunteer hours will be available on any given day, or that a particular duty will be available. Member Activities Tuition

Member Activities are tuition-free. Any offering class code that ends in the letter "M" or that appears in the schedule with a village house is a Member Activity. Activities are for members only.

Refund Policy

Membership Dues Are Non-Refundable.

If you drop a class before the end of the add/drop period, you will get a full tuition refund. After the add/drop period, there are no tuition refunds. Materials fees are not refundable. If Village Home cancels a class, you receive a refund of tuition and material fees. The add/drop period is the first two weeks of the each term.

Financial Aid and Payment Plans

Limited Financial Aid is available. Apply for Financial Aid prior to the published deadlines by downloading a financial aid application.

A 50/50 Payment Plan is available for MEMBER families who wish to split tuition and fees into two equal payments during a term. Payment One is due five days after enrollment is made; Payment Two is due at the beginning of Week Five of the term. Additional processing fees may apply.
